Let's get exPeRImEnTAl
Notes
- Not just divs! Give a paragraph <p class="whisper"> and style .whisper with a soft gray — every paragraph you stamp with that class joins in. One class, as many elements as you like.
- Border styles: solid, dashed, dotted.
- And :hover isn't just for links — try a hover rule on img and watch your picture react too.
- On a phone, a max-width column can still touch the screen edges. Adding padding: 0 20px; to the body keeps your words off the walls no matter how small the window gets. (Try dragging your browser window narrow and watch the column behave!)
- The background property has more tricks: background: url("/mypattern.png"); tiles an image across the page — the beloved wallpaper look of the classic web. Upload any small image to your site from the dashboard and try it. Gradients not blending? Make sure both colors are inside the parentheses, separated by a comma.
